Created during my third semester as an undergraduate student in Introduction to Typography at Kent State University, this poster promotes the annual Typography Lecture Series.
The design explores the relationship between micro- and macro-typography by contrasting oversized, cropped letterforms with tightly structured informational text. A disciplined hierarchy organizes speaker names, dates, and venue details, while scale, orientation, and color create visual tension within a purely typographic composition.
Purely typographic poster exploring scale contrast, hierarchy, and spatial compression across micro and macro levels.
