Blaise is an original display typeface I designed as a single-style, all-caps alphabet built for bold, attention-grabbing headlines. The character set is limited to uppercase letters only (A–Z) and intentionally excludes lowercase and numerals.
Formally, the letterforms balance rounded crossbars with sharper spur-like terminals and tapered interior cuts, creating an expressive, hand-crafted texture while maintaining consistent weight and repeatable construction across the set.
The project deliverables include a specimen-style layout and presentation mockups demonstrating Blaise in use at large scale for short phrases and typographic display applications.
Brochure mockup: Specimen brochure showcasing Blaise in large-scale display settings, highlighting its single-style, all-caps character set (A–Z only; no lowercase or numerals).
Feature/letterform sheet: Letterform study isolating key structural details—rounded crossbars, spur-like terminals, and tapered interior cuts—to show consistency across the alphabet.
Alphabet overview: Full A–Z uppercase set for Blaise, presented as a character lineup to evaluate overall rhythm, weight consistency, and silhouette variety.
